Nana came for a visit this weekend, she got to see what a little cute chunk Miss Maze has become. She also got to partake in the nickname fun Atticus and Piper have been having with mazie. Piper is responsible for all the kids nicknames. We call Piper Bopper because when she was little she would call herself Bopper. " P-I-Q-R-S" Bopper. We would call Atticus a cutie pie and at times little dude. Piper merged this into Atticus' nickname Dudey pie. So, fittingly, it is Mazies turn. Piper calls her a variety of things: noodle, doodle butt, fat butt (not nice), little poopy head, and my favorite; Miss Maze.
Nana hit the nail on the head by bringing Atticus a toolbox. A handy Manny toolbox. Atticus is carrying it everywhere. Luckily, he does not play the lovely tunes, he opts more for just carrying it and using the tools when needed. His favorite tool is Pat, the hammer, he bangs everything with it, even Mazie. We have had to limit the tools he brings out of the house as we tell him he can bring 2 and he tries to lug them all out, along with the hardhat. We definitely have a working man on our hands. As he says " Ive got hard work to do today" if only everyone had that kind of a work ethic.
