We went hunting for bears this weekend at Wood Lake. I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather and squeeze in a hike before work on Saturday but the kids were not thrilled. I managed to entice them by telling them we could go bear hunting. We looked and found footprints. Looked under trees and sneaked across a wobbly bridge looking for a bear. At the end, I explained that bears hibernate in the winter. They were troopers and probably hiked about 1 mile! With NO!! complaints. Way to go Campbell kids.
